Released just months after their debut, Queen II found Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor, and John Deacon pushing toward the operatic excess and layered guitar orchestration that would define their legacy. The album’s two-sided structure, split between May’s “White Side” and Mercury’s “Black Side,” signals a band already thinking in conceptual terms, years before *A Night at the Opera* made that ambition famous.

Queen II is the second studio album from the iconic British rock band. Originally released in 1974, it reached #5 on the U.K. albums chart. This reissue is pressed on 180-gram vinyl and sourced from the original master tapes.
