Melanie Safka has been making deeply personal, spiritually charged folk-pop since the late 1960s, earning her place at Woodstock as one of the festival’s most emotionally raw performers. A 23-track double LP suggests this is a substantial survey of her artistry, and Easy Action has built a reputation for treating catalog artists with genuine care. For fans who know her from “Brand New Key” and “Lay Down,” this is a chance to sit with a voice that never stopped searching.
