Buffalo Nichols delivers his self-titled debut on Fat Possum, the labels first solo blues signing in nearly two decades. The eight-track set centers Nichols’s rich voice and deft guitar work, anchored by the tender lead single Lost & Lonesome and a running thread of empathy, forgiveness, and longing. Tracks like Living Hell, These Things, and Back On Top showcase a modern blues voice that remains deeply personal and story-driven. Buffalo Nichols establishes a distinct, contemporary blues perspective that resonates with both tradition and forward momentum.
