Description

No Sun in Venice is the original film score composed by John Lewis for Michelangelo Antonionis 1957 film. Performed by The Modern Jazz Quartet and released on Atlantic in 1958, the album blends chamber jazz elegance with cinematic mood. Lewiss compositions evoke the spirit of Venice with lyrical restraint and classical structure, featuring Milt Jackson, Percy Heath, and Connie Kay in peak form.
